No seriously, you rocked my socks with every outfit, and leave it to you to actually inspire me to try and not ruin the Macross fandom by doing the white version of your masq Sheryl ;.; DAMN YOU!
BWAHAHAHA! Nothing like making a costume so tight, your small boobs are like "DEAR LORD, WHERE DO I GO?!?!"
NO!!! DO THE WHITE VERSION, MAN!! And maybe some day, we can get photos of us in them together, because you would also be a tall Sheryl~! *___*
Dragon*con 2010! Y/Y??
(Seriously, if your boyfriend hasn't already told you, no con beats Dragon*con. No con. Ever. Period. It is the con to end all cons. You will never appreciate anime cons like you do now after attending D*C. Myself and 30,000 other people look forward to it as the highlight of our year EVERY year, and Cliff loves it so much, it usually triggers one of his panic attacks when it's over. TRUE STORY.)
Tall Sheryl ftw! The white version just somehow caught my eye, and things like the transparent sleeves just scream to be made even though my true love lies in Macross Plus LOL
Actually, I'll be at D*C in 2011, next year I still have school and debate team, which permanently reserves Labor Day weekend for training. Will you be at Katsucon next year though??
Pretty shitty of AX to ban y'all for nothing. If it helps, your skit will live on forever in my and Blake's mind XD Every time someone mentions autotune, it all comes back to me... but I like autotuu~uune... xD
Hahaha! Same here. XDDD I also listened to "I'm on a Boat" recently and thought of how you and Blake schooled the uninformed within our group of what "SHORTY!" should sound like. X3 If I ever get to a Texas con one day, I really hope I'll see you guys again!
Oh, yes, I don't regret it at all! I regret what happened at masquerade, especially now that I know how easily I could have saved us SOOOOOO much trouble (seriously, it took me 45 SECONDS TO BLEEP THE SKIT), but AX as a whole? NO WAY!!! And Mer, do you have any idea how much I appreciated you being there with me?? You definitely made the con for me, even if your poor husbando ended up being ignored a few times in the process. <3
oh my gosh that sounds like it was so much fun (getting to meet morning musume)! But kind of a bummer for the rest. lol I usually dress as something comfy for the last day as well (if I go multiple days).
I've never been to AX more than one day, and I was thinking about going next year and getting a hotel room (I live nearby and usually just commute). But I have also been kinda disappointed the last few times I've gone. Maybe because I didn't plan out anything schedule-wise ahead of time, so whenever I went to an event, it was full. ^^;;; You'll have to tell us how SDCC is, I have always been wary of attending since it's not exclusively for anime/manga/etc.
Momusu pretty much made up for ALL the bad and then some!!
There are a few people out there who keep saying that "AX gets worse every year" and they have conspiracy theories about it being too much about industry and not enough about the fans. Honestly, my only problem with AX is that I'm growing out of animu cons in general, so I don't feel the need to drop an enormous amount of money on the same con every year since it doesn't give me the same feeling of happiness and satisfaction that it once did. If I lived in SoCal, yeah, I'd probably be back in 2010, but I have to hop on a plane and cross the country to get to it. XD
hm..growing out or getting burnt out? It seems like you go to a lot of them, maybe you need to take a rest and not go to as many one year. I could see how going to more than 1-2 per year (especially non-local ones) could get really stressful and frustrating. But either way, sad I never got to meet you at AX. T-T
My "conspiracy theory" is that it's not as good b/c it's not by disneyland anymore. Disneyland makes everything better! ;D There's actually a Disney convention now (D23 expo) if you're interested - it's during the summer. :)
