Year end reviews
Every quarter we get put through our PED's (whatever that stands for, it's mystery to many). This quarter is also our year-end reviews. I've had many ups and downs with the concludsion our most recent audit came up with. getting ready for herne
I almost finished altering my partie-coloured gown. It was a little tight in the shoulders and bust. The bust area fits very nicely now, but the gown is now a little big, 2-ish inches in the waist and hips. The gore I added along the back seam will have to be shortened to my natural waist and tapered to a point. The pleats in the skirt will then be ( Read more... ) -

I cut out & started putting together the partlet. It's tangerine orange velvet (can't complain, got the fabric at Frenchy's) and the lining is out of pale lime green linen (Fabricville's a great place to buy end of the season fabrics cheaply). My newest obsession is fingerloop braiding. I found a site tht has documentable patterns, which is in itself great. Here's the problem: the illustrations don't make sence until you reverse the arrors. they seem to point in the opposite ( Read more... ) -
