I am currently in Venice. I just got the train here today, which only took 3 hours. Italy is beautiful. Venice is just like you imagine it from postcards and movies and travel shows, but actually being here is a different thing entirely. yesterday i went to the sacre coure. the tram/elevator thing wasnt working for "unspecified reasons" for an "unspecified period of time". so it was alot of stairs. but it was definitely worth it. the view from the top was amazing. weird thing that happened: when i got there it was busy. really busy. plaza below full of people unable to move and ( Read more... )
