Apparently I have a live journal fairy who gave me a paid account and extra userpics for Christmas. I'm DELIGHTED. Thank you, thank you live journal fairy! It's already encouraging me to be more vigilant about posting

*snicker* Yeah, I guess you have to be through the baby barf phase of parenting to appreciate baby barf stories. It's more of a "Damn I'm glad it's you and not me."
We totally do! In fact, Kathleen and Stefani and I are going out for a "no kid" meal this Thursday at 11:30. You're more than welcome to join us if you're free.
*giggle* No, unfortunately I meant lunchtime. But that's ok...we'll schedule something of our own when you're not working. You could even invite Mindy if she's up for it. I enjoyed the last lunch we all had together very much.

Baby barf and SuCasa could only be appreciated by someone that has been in that position. A SuCasa dinner would be wonderful right now, dip and chips. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Mmmmm, is right. I ate my leftovers about an hour ago and it's even delicious 24 hours later. We need to all go there next time you come down.
Oh, and apparently Rina is in town. I found that out from the haircut lady too. *grin* It's ironic that I find out Shawn's sister is in town through Erin and Tasha instead of from a phone call from Rina herself. Your kids are very strange. ;)

yes, they are. But then so was our family, I am looking forward to having maybe a "nomal" family relationship, what ever that is. I am glad that Shawn has you and your family to experience some of the "normal"

We got to see Rina and Jen & Family last night. It was really fun. Hopefully they're coming back tonight to join us in our New Years open house sort of thing....I have no idea what to call it because we never expected to have a party but we seem to be having a lot of people here anyway.
Yeah, that's what we do too. Our husbands were best friends in High School and we have siblings that are good friends too. So we catch up on what everyone's families are doing.
I guess that Nat and Shawn (the aforementioned husbands) didn't spend a lot of time together before I met Shawn, but just before our wedding she called me up and offered to do my hair free of charge for the big day. I've loved her ever since, so we camp together sometimes, and have dinner when we can...but it's the haircuts that really give us time to talk.
