I'd rather have her live with me forever and die and old maid than EVER go out with a guy that insulting.

I was all ready to be excited for her because Sara has a boy that likes her and sometimes I think Audrey feels bad that no one has expressed an interest. But oh my gosh, now I want to go to the school and kick his butt! Thankfully, she was repulsed by him long before he said that to her.

Perhaps maybe she could tell him she can't overlook his obvious internal dickishness.

Hahaha, well aside from the fact that as a mother I hope she wouldn't use that particular phrase, I sure agree with the sentiment.

I'm not sure I have it in mean to come up with a nice way to let someone know they are an asshole to the core. :] Not enough days in church, I guess....

I hope she understands what a total idiot this kid is! I hope she knows there are certainly boys that like her. They are just far too shy and far too nervous to tell her.

Agonizing, I bet, to see your kids go through all the terrible things....

That's horrible! I hope he never finds a date. Ever.

What did she say, right then in the moment, though?

Nothing, she was too stunned, and then the boy started looking awkward and she was all awkward and they reached a classroom and split up. I guess he said nothing to her at school today, so that's good.

Good. No response is a good response in situations like this. Let him feel stupid. HE DESERVES IT.

Grrrr . . .

Silly people ask if I don't wish I could be a kid again. No way. Those middle school years are brutal.

Tell Audrey it isn't her--it's him. He needs to grow up and acquire some sense along with maturity.
