 I really wish we had a pantry, extra shelves, or some place to put our food other than a small bookshelf. Maybe then Abby would stop chewing on the cans of chicken broth and carrying around the frosting.

Our place has lots of perks, but less than 600 square feet is not one of them.

 Abby had her first visit to our congregation, F&K, on Sunday. She did well, except for when she started eating and was really loud. No one near us seemed to mind. We had sat on the side near the front, because Abby is such a social baby, I figured it would be more distracting for her to be near all the other babies in the back.

Skybus, the ultra-cheap airline that is based in Columbus has now ceased to exist.

This is not good for  our summer travel plans, my friends. Not good at all.

You  know it's a bad rendition of Jane Austen when I'm choosing to watch Lord of the Rings over Pride and Prejudice. I tried to like the Kiera Knightly one, but it's just such a pale image of the book or the previous movie. Why remake something if you're only going to make it worse?

Overall the last couple weeks have been good. Last quarter just didn't seem to go terribly well, everything seemed very hectic (understandable since they knocked a week of the schedule) and the class I teach was a bit difficult.
