My ten year old wore her straw cowboy hat to school the other day. She also had on a camo skirt and a white tshirt. I thought she looked cute so I didn't tell her not to wear it. My friend just got orders to go overseas. Iraq specifically. ugh. He leaves the 3rd. Lift a glass and put in good words with any gods you choose for him to keep his head down and come home safe.

Sore, tired and happy. All at once. Doesn't feel to bad really. I'll fill in details later when I have more time. But let's just say that last night was a good night. :)

I went out at lunch and walked a grand total of 3.6 miles. From here to BevMo and back in about 50 minutes. We didn't have to time to do anything except check on the brand of wine we wanted (they don't carry it) and buy a water for the walk back, but GO ME! The docs are saying that was a good size walk.
