This is the coldest time of year now, the midwinter. But our winter weather is mild most of time, on a fine day it’s rather comfortable on daytime. Today I took a day off. It’s a bit windy but sunny day. Good.
After cleaning all the rooms I and mother have taken various stuff out from the shelves and closets in the kitchen, put them in the cardboard boxes and brought them to the room we usually do not use.

My "go to the office once a week" day. It's fine but cold. I'm feeling rather unpleasant all day. The Covid situation here is getting worse. Every day they count the biggest number of the newly infected people. Sunny day on which I could wash the clothes and air my futon mattresses on the verandah. I work at home. Last night, just after 24:00, and just before I was going to bed, the sudden frightening sound surprised me.
