The cherry blossoms bloomed while Darriel was here so he got to see Japan in it's flowery glory. The pretty flowers come in several shades of pink and even a shade of white. Usually the light pink come out first, then the whites, then the later pink ones. At this point Minobu is a full 2 weeks ahead of the bloom time from last year so I've been

I miss seeing sakura so much, though.... ;_;

It's cool for like the first two days. Unfortunately the trees bloom for like 2 and a half weeks. So sick of them now, but I know I'll miss them later. Luckily Washington, D.C. has a bunch Japan gave them so if I need a sakura fix I can just drive north. :) I think NYC has them too...somewhere.
