LOL, it makes me laugh how despite the fact that Katsura is a terrorist stalked by the police force, he still makes time to go build snow sculptures in the public where he could easily get arrested.

Completely off topic, I wanted to recommend a promising new 2012 comedy anime series to you! It's called Daily Lives of High School Boys. So far, only the first episode has aired. The first episode was amusing because the high school boys seem fully aware that they exist inside an anime series.

After looking at the list of voice actors for the series over at Myanimelist.net, I see that three of the Gintama voice actors show up in Daily Lives of High School Boys: Kenichi Suzumura (Sougo Okita), Tomokazu Sugita (Gintoki Sakata), Akira Ishida (Kotaro Katsura).

Oh, I've been meaning to watch this, thank you for the link! It's really very funny, but I can't help thinking that schoolboys should not talk in Gin-san's voice, it somehow does not fit at all XD But that part about the skirt was hilarious XDD

That is such a classic episode :D

Katsura's angry faces are priceless. Poor guy was really attached to his work.

It's one of the funniest episodes but as someone who used to do a lot of elaborate sand sculptures with my family when we went to the seaside (sometimes people even took pics of them), and then often have them destroyed even as we were leaving the beach, I can feel Katsura's and Madao's pain.

Still, I can't hate Gin-chan and Kagura for this because their cooperation in petty evil doing is too adorable <3

Oh, that's just so sad :( But at least you can fully understand Katsura's feelings now!

I suppose maybe he really is just that poor and can't buy different shoes... Lol, and he might have ended up selling his winter outfit in the later episodes, so that's why he didn't have it anymore XD

I like his sculpture. It's cute! His angry face is hilarious.

About his winter clothes in this ep, let me rant a bit. The scarf, gloves and haori don't match each other. The color scheme is off. Katsura-san, please go change or take them off. Damn, it's ruin your image! -- This was my reaction when I watched this episode.

Do you read the manga? The previous chapter has Katsura with bar code head. Drinking with Gin-san, they look like old men!

Katsura does like cute things so it makes sense that his sculpture is cute too :D

Lol, that's funny, I actually had not thought about it at all, but you're right, his clothes don't really match XDD Maybe he does not care so much about his appearances as we think he does...

I don't read the manga :( Well, not the new chapters at least - I don't want to spoil the anime for me. I'll catch up with the manga if the anime goes on hiatus. Which I hope will not happen anytime soon :)
