Sometimes I really hate that I feel the need to be PC all the time in classes. On October 25, 881 people gathered at the Long Center in Austin, Texas to attempt to break the Guinness World record for the largest synchronized Thriller dance. The old record was 140 people. Consider that record to be... shattered.

Apparently there was one in Seattle, too. Not as cool. Points for Austin!

Last night with my new gay boyfriend Oliver:

I'm not sure if it was the Titos Vodka or the fried pickles I made last night for the party, but add Richard Linklater's Slacker now on Hulu and I am massively jonesing for Austin, Texas right now. It's this great homage to an Austin that barely exists anymore.
