So, the UPS guy just stopped by and dropped off my latest fun online aquisition.  In honor of my upcoming new job, and the slightly longer drive once per week to the office, I got a new travel coffee mug. It's a nice stainless steel one, and it simply states, "I Love Commuting."  Got it from the Onion.

Ooh! Can you copy Disc 2 for me? It was damaged on the set we got from the liberry and wouldn't play in the Mac, so I couldn't put it in iTunes.

When do you start your new job? Are you taking any time off between jobs? Sounds like you are excited! Who is the new company?

New job starts on Dec. 10, although they have not yet completed the background check. I'm wondering why it's taking so long??? but, I have nothing to hide! I probably won't resign from teh old job until next week, so I can give 2 week's notice. If they kick me out right away, no big deal, I'll just be unemployed a week or so.

I have learned that these public posts are searchable, and so putting their name on a posting might result on some unwanted publicity on my end, especially since I won't be resigning for another week. I'll have to start remembering to label my posts as friends-only!
