Angry Rant
So, my local newspaper does a weekly "Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down" column, and I intend to submit to it for the first time ever. Maybe I'm starting to turn into an old person, but who cares? I'm really irritated by this article, and by the big protest around here toward art that folks think is "ugly." Hell, have they ever looked at the terrain around the Front Range (looking to the east) and around the Denver airport? ANYTHING is an improvement, and I personally enjoy seeing ( Read more... ) -

I CANNOT wait to catch me some vandals!
Who the FUCK is going into my patio every night and destroying my flowers? I just found an entire flowerbed full of decapitated irises and lilies. This is second time it's happened in the past 2 weeks. The irises are always weak and don't grow well up here, but they are a tribute to my aunt and now I won't get to see them bloom. end of the holiday
Well, it's Monday night and the long holiday weekend is over. Turns out I'm really bummed about that. It's been a nice, home-centered, quasi-lazy weekend, and I've truly enjoyed it. I haven't done a lick of work-work since 5 pm on Friday and I've been loving life so much since then. Maybe that explains my end-of-weekend blues I've got going on ( Read more... )
