Ok, I'll hold off on pics of you for a while. But your hair was so AWESOME then! (not that it's not awesome now).
I have some nice pics of us from various visits and Bernalillo, too. When I get around to scanning those, I'll send them to ya via email. Or I might post them, too...
no worries!katwoman1969February 17 2008, 03:22:27 UTC
I think my pics of you are nothing to worry about. It's RebL that's got to deal with all her pleather-wearing pics, hee, hee... It will definitely take me several weeks or months to enact this little project, though...
probably just as well your scanner's broke! I have a pic of us from the first renewable energy fair, on the wall in the upper hallway. We're al so young and cute! I had my "Paul Wellstone for Senate" shirt on, even.
Thought of you guys and that first wedding yesterday. As I slaved away on the computer, my hubbie went out (with our joint approval, of course) and got us a nice new HDTV, slightly larger than the ancient TV we had. He's been jonesin' for one for some time, and we found one on sale, so we snagged it. Today, he's been hooking up cables, optimizing the system and eagerly planning for future improvements to the stereo/tv system. Made me think of the first hubbie, and how he was all too eager to argue with you about such matters. Never fear, if anything, my current hubbie will call you for advice, and wouldn't think of starting an arguement! ;-)
oh, and...katwoman1969February 18 2008, 00:32:05 UTC
speaking of renewables...I found a renewable energy fund that sounds interesting so I think I'll roll over the past employer's 401k funds into that and see how it goes. Wish me good luck!
with or without "her"?katwoman1969February 18 2008, 14:05:27 UTC
I'm not sure, I can't tell from looking at it. If anyone can figure out what quarter we were in at the time, then I can figure it out, because she officially moved in after the xmas break. Of course, she was slumming on our couch and entertaining callers (despite having her own room on the 3rd floor) during the first half of that year, too - I think because her roomie didn't like her and because she supplied the couch in our room. After she moved in, the furniture didn't change much, and I can't recall whose little corner piece that is in the corner. It's not mine, that's all I know. So... I dunno. Sorry.
more to that thought...katwoman1969February 18 2008, 14:08:06 UTC
During the first half of the year, before she moved in, there were many parties hosted by her in my room...and I got to clean up many of the messes. After she moved in, there was a big party the night before spring break and I will never forget the smell I encountered when I got back from the wind ensemble spring tour at the end of spring break week, opened the door, and realized that she did not clean up. Open, moldy glasses of booze everywhere...
