I made the block a long while ago. It was a mystery block from the Paper Panache website. I finally put on some borders and just made a pillow out of it to give to my daughter's daycare provider since she's obsessed with dolphins. It was nice to be able to finally use the navy batik my sister gave me years ago and to get one more project done.

Supposedly there's a league starting up in Worcester. I loved this game and always bemoan not being able to play anymore except with my 4 yr niece. And I got so much done. 3+ loads of laundry. Two loads of dishes. Took down the tree. Filled a vacuum bag with needles. Changed Izzy's crib and put away her way-too-many clothes. Washed her rug. There is tons more to do but finally I feel like I got something done this week. And I didn't bring home any school work :)

Mom called to say there's a 2-hour delay 5 minutes after the school called. I didn't even notice we were having yucky weather. So I'm all ready to go but get a bonus two hours and get to drop off the kiddo at day care :) (I was afraid that early-morning call was day care calling to close ( Read more... )
