Tuesday I was laid off from my job. They gave me 15 minutes notice before the meeting and I knew that something was not right from the start. They did not inform my department director until about 15mins before my meeting. Such heaps of broken glass to sweep away
There was an ice storm last night into today. A lot of people have lost power but luckily so far my apartment has not.
I still had to go to work as it is finals week but there was a delayed opening so I had a little bit of time to sleep in and such. I took some pictures as the ice, while dangerous, glistens so.

The wind in Boston this past weekend was brutal! Amanda,Vicki, Becky and I all traveled down to check out Monty Python's musical, "Spamalot" We arrived an hour before the show was starting so we decided to warm up and get a quick snack at a Dunkin Donuts up the street. (One of three coffee shops in a row and all were filled!!!)

Warm Fall Afternoons
I couldn't seem to wake up all day, not even with two cups of coffee and a grande pumpkin spice drug laced latte. So, I receive Daily Spiritual readings every work in my inbox. Some days I don’t have time to read as I am too busy at work and by the time I get home I don’t want to look at a pc. Writer's Block: Weekend Plans
Many thanks to the groundhog for the longer winter and more snow. Tonight, as I battle my way home I look forward with anticipation to shoveling snow at least twice this weekend. But I am also looking forward to home-made pizza and snow shoeing up Mt. Pierce!!! There is a lot I should do. Get my car's oil changed, buy scarves and maybe make a hat ( Read more... )
