Hi. I just worked overtime. Hooray for me! Soon I will be rich. So rich that I can buy my work and fire everybody. I guess that's the real American dream.

I got my hair cut today by a small, old, asian lady that spoke broken english. The place was called "Happy Barber". It looks ok and only cost $7. That was the highlight of my day. This saturday my 1963 Vespa GL will be treated to a new coat of paint. Not just any color, either. It will wear 1984 corvette white. Oh yeah!

I came home from work tonight to find an double-bagged, unopened 12 pack of Dos Equis at my door. No note, no memo or message on my machine. Just free beer! Oh yeah!

I'm sure must have been left there by some tall, tanned blonde from around the way.

I just saw Hepcat play in Solana Beach. I've been wanting to see them since the 90s. Hole-E-Shit. They were the best. Awesome rock-steady old school ska. I had so much fun!

Ebay is a wonderfu,l beautiful thing. I just bought a Vespa engine for $75. HaHa! Oh shizzle. I'll be scooting all around the beach in no time!

I start working monday at Trader Joe's. I think it will be fun and the store is only 5 blocks from my home. They don't pay a lot but there is opportunity for raises every 3 months. They say I'll always have at least two days off in a row and will typically work up to 35 hours a week. Pretty cool. I'm excited. I wish I could start sooner though ( Read more... )

Today was my last day of work at Costco. I am officially unemployed again... for now. I have a third interview at Trader Joe's on tuesday.

I'm glad the costco thing is done. I think I hate sales jobs. I did the job just fine... succesfully, but I felt kinda scummy.

I think TJs will be a good change. I hope it works out.
