I start my new job tomorrow night! Anyone who's in this area, watch channel 8 at 10pm. I might get my name in the credits! I'm so excited and nervous and everything. I just hope I do ok and don't screw up. I hope I make a good first impression on people. Yay for new jobs! Wish me luck!

My mom just told me that some flowers got delivered for me at home! I had emailed my grandparents about getting my new job and they sent me flowers! All the way across the pond! I can't sleep. And I'm really hungry, but I don't really have any food that I want to snack on. I've been reading and practicing my video poker skills for the last couple hours. I'm madly in love with and madly in search of a song called "Days Go By" by JJ Cale. If anyone happens to have it or can get me a copy I would be incredibly appreciative. It's a great song, as are most of his. Lovely soothing bluesy type songs.

I went to Mendocino yesterday! It was such an awesome trip. My baby car did a whole 400 miles in one day, and pretty much on just one tank of gas. I got up early and drove out, heading up 5 and then across 20. I stopped in Clearlake at "Cathy's Country Kitchen" for a pancake around 10. The actual lake of Clearlake is beautiful. I'm home. Yay. If it wasn't so cold in the house, I would feel all warm and fuzzy. It took me ages to get down here cause of traffic. My poor clutch foot was starting to cramp.
