Oh, my poor sweet baby! But, it's good to have a diagnosis.
I'll bet there are a lot of people who think you already are a superhero!
Good luck, and think positive thoughts!

doesn't sound too good but glad you had a proper diagnosis. i had that as a kid but only temporarily..got some iodine tablets for a while and apparently that was it. but most of the symptoms do remind me of depression and although my blood is checked up once in a while and seems to be ok...i still feel something with my body is majorly wrong.
what would the surgery do though? and radioactive thyroid treatment? o_o

hope you feel better soon. miss you <3

Sorry I took so long to reply. The surgery would remove my thyroid altogether and then I would have to be on thyroid meds for the rest of my life. not.fun. Radioactive iodine would destroy part of the thyroid, rendering it partly inoperable, and then I still need the meds. Not too keen on either, but I feel better now, and can actually function better now, so maybe I won't have to. Miss you too! *hugs*

I know someone who did the radioactive iodine? I think it was that. Her thyroid issue was so bad she was seeing stuff and having hallucinations. But after the radiation treatment, she was all better. I still worry about her and her husband. That whole thing sucked so bad.

I'm glad you got treatment and the pills are working for you. Good Luck and Lots of hugs!

Also if she picked up a new X-man power, she isn't sharing that bit of information.

:)

Hallucinations? I can believe it. I do feel a lot better, and I might not have to take the radioactive stuff. Thanks and sorry I took so long to respond!

*SQUISHES* I'll be sending all the positive/healing energy and prayers I can your-way-wards. A bunch of people in my family have Graves (I've been tested for it twice myself) as well as my sweetie, so I know it's not fun, but at least now you have the diagnosis things can be done to make you a better-feeling-Unnie <333333333333333333333333333333333333333333
