Hamstrung
A very labored run. I am clearly getting tired and need to go to bed early. I ran a much faster second half but towards the end my hamstring on my left leg felt the knots I'd usually get from sprints.

Chicago Wildlife
I was beginning to wonder when this was going to happen. I hadn't encountered any raccoons on my training thus far. It happened today. A solitary raccoon crossed my path south of Recreation Dr. They no longer startle me at this particular spot because I have seen entire families in the past.

One can only hope that the temperature is this cool in a month. Talking of which I have been under the false impression that the marathon is on October 5th. Eeep!
5.1 miles in 40:11 and I slowed down towards the end.
