So.. my Old English class that I signed up for this fall is not the "Chaucer" kind of class I thought it was going to be. No, I will apparently be learning Anglo Saxon Old English. I got contacts today :) The doctor did a full exam, dilated my eyes (so I couldn't really see), then spent 30 minutes getting me to put them in and out. Needless to say it was kind of a painful trip. I was basically preemptively fired from my job today. I have until I graduate with the hours I have now before they won't have work for me because of student budget cuts. What really sucks though? ... how sketchy is it to find a room mate online? I think I found the perfect place but I don't trust the internet. Ironically. Thoughts?
