The liver damage is probably minimal. If a single instance of overdrinking caused too much damage all on its own, we'd all be dead by now. :)
I just hope that most folks got the message that I was trying to treat and weren't just pissed off that I'd put the whole bill on my card so that they all had to scrounge for cash instead of using their plastic ... :)
First of all, my apologies for my contribution to loneliness the night before. I swear we'll be in the same city again for dinner before too long. ;-)
I can think of very few people with the high level of integrity that you seem to express so consistently. Sure, that doesn't mean never making a mistake, but it means you seem to have the miraculous ability -- despite such improbable obstacles as furries succeeding at restaurant math -- of always making the recovery therefrom leave the world a better place than it was before.
Ironically for the timing of this post, I was actually contemplating hitting up the $1 half pint thing at Tied House this Thursday, if you're in town and interested. And no, I will not be ordering the scary sampler! :)
I'd like to think that my Catholic upbringing taught me how to feel guilty, and that the rest of my life taught me how to turn it into something positive. :) *hugs*
Its ok Kay, I dont have a mate either, since Max and I split; I havent really have found someone worth dealing with. You did a good thing. I am thankful I am taking meds that I cant drink on or otherwise I would prolly hit the bottom of a glass one too many nights myself. I go to a lil bar by the house that has karaoke night on Saturdays and its a good group and it lifts my spirits to sing, even if I do go home alone. You take care.

Kudos to you, good sir.

The last I'd heard, I thought things were going well with you and your mate, but I guess that was quite awhile ago.
I do tend to keep beer in the fridge, and yes, it's mainly just for myself - I'm usually the only one here.
I hope things get better for you, or at least that during the Holidays, you were able to get with friends and family.
