Aboriginal studies today @ the Schiele Museum with Steve Watts. This morning started with a short lecture on NA pipes, with a geology side conversation. Lots of fun, and before the camera battery died, I got pics of some of the other students' work.

Out in the garden today....
Saw a hot-air balloon yesterday around 7am. Then spent the morning watching skydivers jump. Even took a turn myself. On the way home, my friends and I spotted a bi-plane, which landed near the strawberry fields we were stopping at. Had a great lunch, picked lots of berries and spotted the Met Life dirigible at the Gaston airfield. Altogether a ( Read more... ) -

It has been an interesting month. I've had more "professional development" than anyone should be expected to sit through. I hope to get some CEUs for it at least.
Anyhow, I met with a Weaving A Life teacher, who was quite helpful in jump-starting the creative process. And I'm finally feeling like I have some understanding of the class on Ritual.

Haldane--I got your card today, and what a delightful surprise it was too! I was a slacker this year about sending out cards and so I was quite surprised to see one for me! Back again, briefly....
The break wasn't long enough! DH and I just got back from NYC/Jersey City where we spent three days sleeping late, eating ethnic and seeing shows. August: Osage County was both bitter and funny, 39 Steps was just plain funny, and Garden of Earthly Delights was as weird as promised.
