YEAH!!!!
Otis tumor results.....CAME BACK CLEAN!!! The surgeon got all of the tumor. This is the best possible result - no further treatment, no chemo, no radiation, no medication - just some check-ups for a year to keep an eye on him.
BUT YEAH!! This has made my month. My summer even. -

Note to self: Just because the donuts and the candy and the BBQ ribs are there doesn't mean you have to eat them. And it really doesn't mean you have to have seconds.

In which I discover Strocks actually exist.
But alas, cannot get one. A Strock, sold online, but not until August 1, is a "sock" and a "strap" meant to go over a dog's foot so said dog will STOP CHEWING ON IT. Unfortunately, Otis must instead continue to endure the Cone of Fun, which has been reinforced with chopsticks and ducktape and now looks quite...original.

Dork Dog Update - Otis is home and doing great - he alternates between hop-along-Cassidy on his massively bandaged foot or holding it up in the air and looking a bit baffled (might be the MASSIVE drugs they have him on for that...) He has also discovered that if he rams his cone of shame into his dog-bro Sam, Sam will drop the toy and walk away. ( Read more... ) -

When I met Chemm and Dragrons, both commented that I don't post much - I always think, 'Phfft, who wants to know my boring stuff?" but then I realized I LOVE reading other people's posts - so I've made a mini goal to post more. And, you will all be relieved to know, I am also going to work on my LJ cut skills. Which are currently less than MAD.

Thoughts on characterization
OK - I need help - I'm taking a script writing class (finally!) and actually doing homework (yes, sign number three of the Apocalypse) and we are now learning about "Show, Don't Tell."
Which brings me to Season 4 of Supernatural.
