So almost every Tuesday for the last year and some it's been my turn to be on the ambulance crew for the night. However, someone new is doing the schedule and appears to have completely screwed it up such that my name is no longer written in for Tuesday night, or at all. Sorry things turned out like that. I'd take that night off and consider it an accidental gift from the captains. Not sure who they are right now, but I doubt they'll respond well to snarking...

Have you considered (c) take the night off unless told otherwise but send a not overly snarky email reminding them that you are typically on Tuesday and while the night off would be handy you want to make sure everything is covered.
