Leaving West, I remind myself to visit the chapel.
A few seconds later, I find myself in front of the door to Swannanoah.
Turning around, quite embarrassed, I murmur to myself:
"Chapel, Alli. Not Swannanoah. Chapel. Different spirituality."
Though I wonder if masochism is a better word.

My mom would say: the old horse always goes home. Which is a weird thing to say. Oh well. (She used to get off the highway on the hospital exit while taking me to school.)
