No, actually Canada was created as the golden aftershock imminated from my mother's nether regions and grew cold near the American border, terraforming everything it touched from a green paradise where men are free to bare arms and speak easy, slowly transmogrifying to a barren transiberian tundra of permafrost and poutine. Don't get me wrong; I'm sure it's a great place to visit, but all in all it's the cold afterglow of my Mamasan's wrathful baby basket.
