AHAHAHAHA I KNOW I KNOW. I have learned, with this show, to simply try not to figure out the plot in an overarching sense, otherwise you will fall down a deep dark plothole and never come out. I rewatched all of s4 last year in one go and realised it doesn't make any sense either on this own or in relation to previous seasons. Just take it episode by episode :P

That is good advice! I tend to watch things with a mixture of "That doesn't make sense! They were in Maine! You can't drive to Oklahoma in a few hours! That plot point is silly! Why would they have done that!" etc etc and just being completely absorbed by the whole thing and overlook any inconsistencies and not even realise them until much later if someone points it out. But I guess that's what rewatches are for :D I can tear it to shreds later, hehe.
Samifer *__* it's weird to see Sam but not!Sam! I kinda liked the white suit - it made it obvious that it was a different person. They probably could have picked something different to make the same point (idk, something that's not jeans and a jacket? A suit or some sort of royalty-wear? OMG now I'm imagining Samifer with a cape and a crown and all those silly things and yeaaaah that's over the top) so it's a good compromise, I think. The white SHOES were kinda the pinnacle of that, for me, though. Hmmmm. idk!
I agree with you about the Hell thing, it's impossible for John to be the first righteous man in Hell... Come on?
And also about the States thing, they don't need to show the things happening but at least comment that they it's happening or something...
The YED thing always made sense to me, that the winner would be the leader of the demon army which came out of Hell when the gate was opened, but now that you mentioned the vessel thing? I'm not sure I understand anymore...
Right, I guess they were supposed to be the leader. I don't know, they said so many contradicting things I'd have to watch the whole thing again to dissect comments, and I'd rather work on finishing the series first, hehe.

Samifer *__* it's weird to see Sam but not!Sam! I kinda liked the white suit - it made it obvious that it was a different person. They probably could have picked something different to make the same point (idk, something that's not jeans and a jacket? A suit or some sort of royalty-wear?
