Yesterday Mr Cee took the day off from our garden project, so we went out for a very nice lunch, and in the evening we went on a Segway Tour of the grounds of Leeds Castle.
That looks like fun. Was the Segway easy to ride? The only place I've really seen them was the tour guides in Prague (I think it was) using them to lead their walking tours.
You need good balance and posture as you use your body weight to go forwards and backwards, we didn’t find it hard but some others were more challenged by the concept. We were probably the oldest people there ;)
It was great fun. We aren't allowed to ride them in public places over here, so they are restricted to places like the castle grounds or holiday parks.
Isn't it LOL! There's so much confusion about the name as it's not in Leeds, it's here in Kent, and even in Leeds (up North) they apparently have fridge magnets of the castle which must be a bit odd...
You do need to be able to balance, but you can go very slowly on them, and don't need to whiz along - but of course, we rather enjoyed that. Some people were going much more slowly.

We will definitely go back. We've visited Leeds castle before, but a long time ago and we should go back again. It's a whole day out to see it all.

i don't think my wonky balance would cope with a segway, but it does look fun.
