I love Paddington station; I get the train from Totnes. I've seen a few of the spots you visited but didn't know all the history and so thanks for sharing. It sounds a fascinating day.

You're welcome! I've been through Paddington, but not around the area, so it was really interesting for me to explore.

It's been years since I was in Paddington Station...lovely place...and I knew very little about the surrounding area despite how central it is. So I really appreciate your pictures and explanations. Now I'm feeling nostalgic so may have to hug my Paddington Bear plushie.

I didn't know much about the surrounding area as I'm usually just trying to get somewhere - so it was lovely to look and learn about the surrounding areas. I love learning new stuff!

I’ve only ever been through Paddington Station on the way to somewhere but I have walked along the canal, which is lovely. Glad you had such beautiful weather to see it all at its best.

It was very interesting as I've only ever been in the station, so the canals were a revelation (and I loved Little Venice!). It was a glorious day for a walk :)

I am enjoying my tours round Exeter ... it is so lovely to be shown things in places you know really well, isn't it?

Yes, I do like all the Paddingtons (who doesn't?), but that soldier statue is special, isn't it?

Yes - it's so much fun to find stuff you didn't know about before! I also like that there are places I want to go back and see again in more detail :D

I thought the soldier statue was wonderful.
