I bought a ticket to go see the Dalai Lama speak in Ann Arbor next month. I figure it's a once in a lifetime opportunity and that I'd be stupid not to go. My boyfriend doesn't want to go, and this upsets me. I guess sometimes it's stil hard for me to accept, after four years, that we don't see eye to eye on everything, which is healthy. Ok, so I just applied for a pretty sweet, awesome big position at the museum. Well, it's a big deal for me at least. I've never been paid a salary and this is the kind of work that I could actually call a "career." Like, this is what I went to school for, ya know?

my art space
I'm working on setting up my myartspace page. It's a lot easier to showcase your art on this site rather than myspace just because of the simple fact that it's specifically geared towards art! quick update
I found a second job. I'm now working at the DIA gift shop as well as Ariana Gallery in downtown Royal Oak. The owner is awesome and things are relaxed and fun there. I think that if it wasn't for the poor economy in Michigan Brandon and I wouldn't be able to afford to live here because it's a really nice area! I mean, we're eight minutes away ( Read more... )
