Does anybody know how to tune a bass? I don't have a tuner for it. Does anybody know the relitive tuning for a bass?

Interestingly enough I have the same difficulty...I was told to go buy a tuner at a music store they cost about twenty bucks. Don't know if it's worth it...Im' not very good as bass anyhow.

tune the second string to the fifth fret on the one closest to your nose (fattest). unless you are left handed and playing a right handed bass upside down, that is. every string is tuned to the fifth fret of the one preceeding.
