I pretty much lost all my shit the first time Loki was on and since I was out of shits to lose I proceeded to lose the negative space left behind by the shits I had already lost for the rest of the movie.
Like seriously. How can everyone be so wonderful in a huge-ass fucking movie like this? I even legitimately felt for THE HULK. I wanted to give Bruce hugs and cookies and put a blanket over him because obviously he's in shock.

I mean, I was expecting the angsty Norse bros feels and the "God this movie is too awesome to exist" feels but the heartbreaking Coulson feels were a surprise. I had hope Joss Whedon would repent his murdering ways but meh. I'm too optimistic, it seems...
The only Hulk movie I liked was The Death of the Incredible Hulk, when Lou Ferrigno played The Hulk and I was 9 or 10 years old, so... But yeah, Mark Ruffalo destroyed the audience by being perfect. <3

Too many feelings I have. Just know that I am writing a 5+1 canon thorki fic set mostly during and right around the movie. I am already 1500 words in and it is fabulous. And because I'm feeling kind and I do not have the words to respond properly to this awesome post of win, here's the first paragraph (unedited) of my fic. WHUT.
Pebbles stuck in the heel of his palm, Loki does not resist as Thor wraps a hand around his biceps and yanks Loki to his feet. (Obviously, Thor understood Loki's silence to his question, "Will you comply or must I drag you like a child?" for the non-answer it was.) Although this slight is what Loki allowed, the tightness with which Thor holds him seems unnecessary. Nor does he have to pull Loki close enough to feel Thor's breath against his cheek; but this is just what he does, slinging an arm impersonally around Loki's torso.
