Please tell me Up and Wall-E are making this list.

Wall-E in particular would probably be my number one pick... although Lilo and Stitch would be close...

Oh, wait. Does Enchanted count as animated? Cause that was fucking hilarious...

Shit. I love animated movies too much. ;)

Up (2009) and Wall-E (2008) are great recent animated films.

Some other great ones from this decade include: Finding Nemo (2003), Ice Age (2002), Monsters Inc (2001), The Incredibles (2004)-as you mentioned, Happy Feet (2006),

Do clay-mation and the like count, too? The Academy includes them in the animated films category. Coraline (2009) was amazing. It is puppet stop-motion. Chicken Run (2000) is also fantastic. I have also heard great things about Fantastic Mr. Fox (in theaters), but since I haven't seen it yet, I can't vouch.

The only animated films that I missed this decade but I would like to see are Tim Burton's 9 (2009) and Corpse Bride (2005).

Two Disney films get honorable mentions from me, because even though they weren't strictly "good", they are stinkin' cute. Those are Chicken Little (2005) and The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning (2008).

Oh, oh, oh!! I forgot to put down Over the Hedge (2006). That fits into the 'great' category, right after that dangling comma.

I will lose all respect for you if you do not include Wall-E. that is all. Kasia

Wow, that's 3 high votes for Wall-E...

Maybe I need to reconsider my list, because yes, I snubbed Wall-E. I'll talk more about this later, but the absolutely wonderful first half couldn't save the movie from the most mediocre last third.

I have watched Wall-E a couple of times since I first saw it. Every time I have to stop after the "fire extinguisher in space" scene because that is the end of the movie's enjoyability for me.

What? The ending where they rush him back home but he loses his memory and starts cleaning up all the things he's collected? I was like a blubbering baby... Sure, all the action-packed stuff in the spaceship was a little contrived, but the ending came back to that true, non-dialog storytelling that makes the beginning so great.

Hmm...Maybe I'll need to re-watch the entire movie.

I'm not 100% certain that Wall-E would make my cut if I had to narrow down to a top 10, either. I'd have to consider it more.
