I know I haven't posted in forever and need to do a real entry. But just wanted to share that I found out today (unofficially) that the Dept. of Ed at UC Santa Cruz is going to recommend me for admission to their PhD program. YAAAAYYY!!!

So yesterday I get a call from my credit card company asking about some potentially fraudulent charges posted that day. Apparently I flew to New York, spent $435 at Orva, a store that "specializes in female adornment, head to toe," then spent $41 at Shop Fair, a low-rated shoe store in Harlem, and then $94 at American Apparel ( Read more... )

Hey - my friend Sean Chapin, who is in the SFGMC with me, just released a full album of his own music on iTunes! It's called "More Equal Union" and is being used to raise awareness and money for LGBT Civil Rights. So I haven't updated in awhile... sorry. Been busy. My Birthday was fun - had a good group hang out with me for the whole day. And then my trip to Michigan was a total blast. Came home to do a fabulous SFGMC concert (60s theme!), which was almost sold out. We did a really great job and I think it energized a lot of people, which is awesome. ( Read more... )
