You know I realized that when people tell me to be myself what they actually mean is to be who they think I am. What sucks is that the people who say they know me the most don't even realize that the girl I actually am is crying so hard and wants so badly to be seen but is scared of what people might see. but yet she can't see
her ears listening...
yet there is no sound

why can't she hear or see
she tries so hard
what is she looking for?
noone knows
not even her

she's waiting...
nothing comes
being patient...
nothing happens

why, how doesn't she know
what she seeks?
the answer never comes...
