Wow, it's been a long time since I've been on LJ! I should check it more often. Anyways I just wanted to post my good news now I've told my siblings and parents. Jerry and I got engaged last night! I'm sure this doesn't surprise many. :)

I have about 1/2 hr left at mt job and not sure what to do. That's not enough time to start a new project since I wouldn't be able to finish and I've already gotten everything done that I needed to today. I just hope it gets busy here so I have something to do ( Read more... )

Moving itself is no fun at all. The getting the new apartment/house is fun as well as the arranging of it, but the packing everything up and getting it from one place to another is not fun. Super exited here since I just got offered a new job. I am now the Youth Collection Specialist at the Mt. Prospect Public Library and I start on the 30th of the month. This was my favorite out of the jobs I interviewed for and am glad they liked me too. They even seem willing to let me start a book cart drill team. Now the tough part is telling my ( Read more... )

There was a double homicide in Seneca last night. A couple in their 80's was killed after someone broke into their home and stole their car. It's scary to know that something like that can happen in even a town this size. Right now we don't even know what happened other then they were tied up and beaten to death. I hope whoever did this is caught.

Jerry and I had planned on going camping this weekend but as usual we'll not be able to go after all. This happens everytime we try to go camping and I'm getting tired of it happening.
