Microsoft stock

For the first time ever (if not for a very, very long time), I've decided to buy some stock in Microsoft. Not a large amount, for sure, but it was near it's 52 week low, and I think it's bound to go up. We'll see. I recall hearing that MSFT's price has been static mostly because Gates keeps liquidating tons of shares he owns to fund the Gates Foundation, meaning that when (if?) he stops doing that, the price will notch up again. Plus, times of pessimism and despair are the best time -- buy low, sell high if at all. So, go for it. :)

You need to put some money into the EPP - we get a percentage off our own stock, so right away you make a decent percentage! And it's a great way to have a 3 months effort of saving $$ that you can withdraw after that quarter :)

When you get back I'll send a few tips your way - as I've been taking advantage of what we are offered :)

You mean ESPP? :-P I do use that, but I've been selling immediately every time for years. Any tips would be appreciated.
