Across the Keep runs a rather large spider, scampering from building to building, room to room and carrying with him a decent sized branch of mistletoe. One might catch him skittering up a wall to build a web above a doorway, or stringing mistletoe up from various points on the ceiling.
He doesn't linger in any particular place for too long, save

Except she was really ready to be able to navigate the Keep and actually walk around instead of huddled near a fire with some of the staff. They were nice and all, but Raven was worried about Charles and she didn’t want to sit around. It had taken everything she had not to get up and go on a hunt for him.
In fact, that might be what she’s doing now, poking around the Keep in search of her brother, and for food.

Pushing up on her toes, she meets him halfway -- she's been wanting to do this a while too, and even if he was only doing it because of a silly plant -- she was...pleased that it was happening at all. She liked Bobby. A lot.

Though if it'd only been because of the plant, he definitely would have stopped kissing her by now. It would have been a quick, brief kiss, almost chaste. But now that he was actually kissing her, finally, he didn't really want to stop.
So he didn't. Instead, he moved in a bit closer, sliding one arm around her waist and hoping like hell he wasn't about to make things awkward.

So…maybe it’s wasn’t just the plant. Maybe he really was kissing her like this because he wanted to - and, it was almost safe to assume that because of the intensity, maybe this was something Bobby has thought about doing at length.
It’s definitely something Raven’s been thinking about. More frequently than she’d really care to admit.
She felt his arms around her waist and the excitement bar rises, and she moves to wrap her arms around him too, because - hey, he’s cute, she likes him, and he’s kissing her like she’s Ingrid Bergman and he’s Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca.

Not that he really thought she wouldn't kiss him back, at least not for a little bit, but by now, it had to be obvious that this wasn't just a little 'oh, look, mistletoe' kiss. And she hadn't pulled away. He'd set himself up for that reaction, figuring she'd probably just pull away after a moment with a laugh to diffuse the awkward, and something like 'oh, yeah, mistletoe, fun tradition.' Then they'd still be friends, and he'd know where he stood.
But she was still kissing him, and even wrapped her arms around him, which was pretty much exactly what he'd hoped for.
He'd probably have to explain himself. Actually, you know, tell her that he liked her, and that was why he'd kissed her under the mistletoe like he'd spent a long, long time thinking about exactly how he was going to do this.
Just - in a minute. After he reached up with his free hand to rest on her cheek.

Especially because he likes her like she is, and that is mind-blowing and amazing.
Unfortunately, she needs to breath. And he probably does too.
So she leans her cheek into his hand and sucks in a few breaths, keeping her eyes closed because she suddenly feels incredibly... embarrassed and awkward because she knows that she had been really forward.

But she was right, they did need to stop eventually. So he kept his hand on her cheek, absently brushing his thumb along her cheekbone.
He bit the inside corner of his lip, using the moment it took to catch his breath to try and think of something - anything - to say.
"That wasn't just because of the mistletoe."
Okay, well, that wasn't exactly poetry, but at least it wasn't chickening out.

"It...wasn't?"
She looked up at him hopefully, keeping gold eyes trained on his face, hoping that he isn't going to realize that he just kissed a feak and push her away.

Besides, either way - if he backed out or if she didn't return the feelings - things would be awkward. He'd rather it be because he'd tried and been shut down than because he'd been weird and confusing.
And she was looking at him hopefully, like she actually wanted him to say that he'd just wanted to kiss her. That, and the way she'd kissed back, it had to mean something, right?
"I really like you. As, more than a friend."

"...You do?"
The disbelief was clear in her voice but it fades quickly. She wanted to make sure that he didn't misunderstand her tone, so she quickly continued.
"I like you too, Bobby. As...well. Definitely more than a friend. A lot more."

It took a moment for what she said to sink in, but then his smile returned, bright and happy.
"Really?"
Yeah, really, she'd just said that, Bobby. Don't ask like she was going to change her mind, or something.
"So, here's the part where I'd ask if you want to go see a movie or go out to a restaurant or something, but that's kind of hard to do here."
Reply
"Yes, really."
Boys are so silly.
"Well...We can sit together at dinner, if that counts? And maybe have a puppet with with those ridiculous stockings they have, instead of a movie. I bet with some paint, we could come up with our very own rendition of The Blob."
Reply
"You have the best suggestions. I know someone I could get to supply us with music, too. I could make some ice lanterns, and we'd have a nice romantic dinner concluded by the best rendition of The Blob to ever exist."

Because that's what it was, right? A date.

It's absolutely a date.
"Especially because I've kind of been wanting to ask you on one for awhile."

Okay, that makes Raven really grin -- she's still sort of in the shock and mindset that 'this probably isn't really happening'.
But, it is. She's tempted to pinch herself.
"Well. I've got to say, I have been waiting for you to ask me."
