It was amazing how much work was necessary for a small get together, but also how quickly and easily it went with the help of another person. Especially when that person happened to be on staff

There's no way Bobby'd miss a party. Especially not when he knew the person throwing it. He'd headed down to the green pretty much as soon as he'd read the note in the journal, definitely eager to get to know people better.
He was drawn to the food and drink table almost immediately, investigating the colorful cupcakes and the bowl of punch. And then, because he couldn't help himself, he made a medium sized ice sculpture - a mini version of the Keep - on the table next to the drinks.
Yeah, he couldn't avoid noticing that she was back to being not-herself. He wasn't going to comment on it, though, because he didn't want to upset her. It was a party, not for talking about things that he knew made her uncomfortable.
"I am! Making statues, talking to friends, devouring cupcakes that weren't involved in any sort of tragedy. Made of fun."
He grinned. "And plus now I'm talking to you, which instantly makes pretty much everything better. How about you? Enjoying yourself?"
"Good thing I didn't see any brownies here. I probably would've had to avoid them," he said with a teasing grin.
"I'm glad I saw you here, too. Because much longer and I would've had to come find you, and it's always an ego blow when you have to be the one stalking someone." He paused as he realized how that probably sounded. "And by 'stalking,' I mean 'seeking out to spend time with in an entirely non creepy way'."
“I’d have highly recommended it,” she teased back, settling her hands on her hips.
“Are you sure that’s not you stalking me?” Raven smiled at him, though it slipped a little bit and she glanced at the ground. “…I’m sorry I’ve been kind of a hermit lately.”
"I'm going to be turned off brownies for life, watch." Not really. There wasn't much that could actually turn him off any kind of food.
He smiled back. "Okay. Maybe a little bit stalking. But still in a way that's completely non creepy." His smiled faded slightly as well, but returned. "It's okay, Raven. I understand. I'm just glad to see you now."
"You sure about that?" Her eyes twinkled. "I could've sworn guys had like, iron stomachs." Or maybe it was just some of the ones she knew...
"Well if I had my pick of stalkers, I'd definitely choose you." She scuffs the ground with the tip of her boot. "I shouldn'tve hid." It seemed kind of silly, now.
"You caught me. There's probably really nothing that'd keep me from brownies forever," he said with a laugh.
"Good to know out of all the potential weirdo stalkers, I'd come first." He slid his own foot forward slightly, nudging the tip of her boot with his. "I'm not gonna argue with that."
"Wicked. Take that, all you other creepers." Bobby was the winner of the creepers. Which wasn't actually that great of a thing to win at. But he'd take it.
"Just don't do it again, and we'll call it even?" he asked teasingly. "Well, don't do it again unless you've got the plague or something. Then totally feel free to hide for a bit."
And Bobby put on his best creeper face there, but it failed a bit when he couldn't keep himself from smirking. So at least they were both unsuccessfully trying faces?
He closed his hand around hers and shook it solemnly, then grinned. "Deal. The only acceptable reason for hiding is bubonic plague. And even then, only until you're better. Or until I get tired of waiting and risk plague anyway."

She leaned to pick one up, examining it. It looked okay, no marks of trauma anywhere.
"I'd have to say..." She turned her treat in her hand, and set her empty cup down. "I'm much better now that I'm talking to you."

And then his smile only grew. "Yeah? I'm glad you're happy to see me."
Not that he'd worried, or anything.
All right, he'd worried a little.

Raven nodded, and glanced away before meeting his eyes again.
"...Yeah. I really am." Because she'd...definitely been avoiding him. And that is kind of weighing down guiltily on her right about now.

"Definitely the first out of all the creepers out there," she agreed. Raven's eyes strayed down to his foot nudging at hers.
"...I'm sorry."

"I won't, unless like you said, I come down with like, a sudden case of the bubonic plague. Then I'll avoid you." She stuck her hand out.
