Across the Keep runs a rather large spider, scampering from building to building, room to room and carrying with him a decent sized branch of mistletoe. One might catch him skittering up a wall to build a web above a doorway, or stringing mistletoe up from various points on the ceiling.

However, unknown to him, was a little green plant that hung over him and his bed.

Men.
However, she's intent on visiting him where he's laid up, so she makes her way to Sycora's infirmary.
Stepping into the door and seeing her husband, she smiles softly; and then her smile begins to grow as her eyes alight on a spring is mistletoe hanging above his bed.
"One might think you planned that..." she teases, stepping into the room.

At least he told her first instead of just vanishing first. That was some progress, if only just a little. Of course he had to deal with getting the stink eye from Nel for a little while. Fortunately he didn't seem to be getting the same treatment from Talia.
Her comment drew a confused look out of him. "Planned what?" he asked as he looked around the room for what she was talking about. Finally he spotted the mistletoe hanging above his head and he couldn't help but grin.
"Oh that," he turned his gaze back on her. "Well I guess I'm just lucky. Now all I have to do is wait for the sexy nurse to come in."

Though she on no way condoned the actions her husband had taken, he was still her life bonded and she would not repudiate him.
At his wide grin and reply, Talia stops short of his bed, brows rising. "Oh?" she even manages to keep the amusement from her tone, although her hazel gaze retains it. She half turns back the way she came, "Should I leave then? I'd hate to interrupt..."

He turned around and grinned at her. "Hey there Peaches."
Call him his embarrassing and he'll call her hers.

"Where are you off to?" she asked.

He stopped in the hallway, leaning against the wall for a minute. Just to take a quick break. That was all. Then he'd keep moving.

Shepard stopped, staying put while she looked him over for further signs of the exhaustion she suspected might be there. Then the commander resumed her march and made a beeline for her turian squadmate -- and the only member of her crew she's seen for several days.
"Figures we'd both be looking. Cover more ground this way, I guess."

"You holding up all right?" he asked.
Of course she'd say she was. At least, he thought she would. It was what he'd say. And what had he been doing the last few years, but modeling himself after her?
... what mistletoe? There was A Moment here.

"'Course I am," she replied automatically, and then winced, looking past him as if somebody (maybe Tali) would come up from behind. Nobody came toward them. Naturally. Shepard rubbed the back of her neck, exhausted but full of anxious energy nonetheless.
As her head tilted back, the plant entered her line of sight. She stopped rubbing.

Lakes didn't play fetch, after all.
Needless to say, Anders is completely unaware of all the greenery he's passing under. He's too busy considering whether or not he could magically weld the creature to Fenris before throwing it to the lake.

He'd heard Joe's entry, and it was amusing even if he'd never met Patty the spider. He'd settled his Christmas gifts in his room, sweater tucked away and furby on the small table near his bed.
He's ambling along, feeling just a bit peckish and pauses as a familiar figure catches his eye just ahead.
"Anders." he calls out to catch the man's attention, smile warming as he approaches.

"I was wondering where you'd gone to."

Seeing that smile, warm and genuine, makes Alex all the happier to have run into him.
"At your request, dearheart, and in respect to myself, I was keeping myself healthy and whole." He comes to a halt before the Mage, posture relaxed as his nostrils flare again, taking in the familiar scent of the man before him. Grinning he gives a casual twirl, arms aloft as he shows himself just so.
"You managed the same?"

Its too bad he's not paying that much attention to the ceilings and doorways.

"Hey! You got out!"
Not that she was worried.

He pauses as she talks to him, and turns to face her. "Uh...yeah. They spit everybody out when dawn finally arrived or some shit."

About as random as the gifts they'd got, but whatever. She wasn't going to complain about free stuff.
"You didn't meet any giant owls or weird fox things?"
Hey, it could always be spirit world shenanigans!
