I just got home from Gilead, and as soon as I walked in the door, my mom tells us all that my sister, Bethany, has to be rushed to the hospital. Apparently, her platelets are really low, and her blood count is 8,000 (the norm. is 140,000). So I think if they hadn't caught it when they did, it could have been quite life-threatening.
