I loved mortar fire, when I was at MCT we slept 1/4 mile from the mortar range and it was very relaxing like sleeping to thunder.

Yeah but theres a slight difference between mortar firing on a range and people shooting mortar with the intent to kill you.

I sleep through the bulk of it anyway, theres only been 4-5 that I've been at work during and we just chilled in our mail room
