At this point in time, it's looking pretty definitively like Eddie and I will NOT be able to make it to Anthrocon this year. Money's kind of tight, and neither one of us was particularly enthusiastic about the move to Pittsburgh, either.

To everyone I normally see there, I'm going to miss you a lot! Maybe next year.

Out of curiosity, what about the move is unattractive? I hear a lot of griping about 'the move' and I personally can't figure out how it makes a major difference...

Well, a big part of it (not so much for us now, but it was when we were on the east coast) is that Pittsburgh was literally twice as far away as Philadelphia for anyone coming from New England, and Anthrocon is one of the only ones accessible by car, assuming you don't want to drive super far. This is all just my opinion, of course. :)

I'll definitely miss you guys, too!

Ok, driving is a very reasonable point to stand on. We're driving this year because it's closer, after all. ;)
Mostly I've heard people complaining about Pitts as if the con itself will somehow be worse because they've changed the location. I should have been more specific. :)
I'll uh...hmm... you recommend anybody for a spanking?
