So I think most of you have heard this already, but I ended up in the ER for the second time in a couple of weeks on Wednesday night. I'd been having intense abdominal and back pain, and enough nausea to have me throwing up. Stay away from lettuce, too. For whatever reason, that stuff triggers serious pain with gallbladder people. Makes no sense and I don't know why it is, but it does. :)

Glad they figured out what the issues were! This is a not-so-bad thing as things go, and the laparoscopic surgery is a breeze compared to a full open-belly procedure.

Hang in there, man. Better living through chemistry, for now. :)

Some dietary changes to consider once you have it out:

Skin your chicken breasts. Cut down on oil when cooking, invest in good non stick pans. Also cut down on dairy. Why? Because... they'll tend to pass right through now, sadly! And it can be a tad messy if you know what I mean.

Some people experience mild incontinence in the first year of recovery, so be on the lookout for that.

Other than that, no problem! Pretty minor stuff.

Glad they figured out what the F was going on. Having unknown pains never leads to anything good.
