Goals.

I've heard that writing out one's short term and long term goals can help with focus. Something I could certainly use more of. Would anyone else like to try this, too? I'd like reading about your innermost private desires ( Read more... )

I think it's a really balanced set of goals, and not too many.

The thing about goals is that once you achieve one, you often find another to take its place. So I wouldn't worry about that.

Among other things, it lets you examine each goal and work out the requirements necessary to fulfill it, following which you can backstep the process of meeting those requirements stage by stage all the way to where you presently stand.

And now, you have a plan, not simply a goal.

Short term goals:

Get art ready for AC; seems to be going along fine

Get in better shape: been working on it since January. Also seems fine, if slow, but consistant.

Long Term Goals:

Improve a lot at the art thing, perhaps do something that allows me to do what I want with it for a living; not going so well. :P

No. But, lots of chiropractors around here have massage therapists working with them. Good way to get clients.
