A brilliant night all round!

This was a gig for the launch of the Indelicates new album, and a rare acoustic gig for my band.

I'd been in two minds about whether to play it acoustic for a while, but then I remembered how many stairs I would have to carry four guitar amps up, and that was that. I decided to play as Keith Top of The Pops & His Minor UK ( Read more... )

I feel like I need to point out I spoke in error when we had our violin conversation: my violin does have a chin rest attached (can't imagine playing without that) but I opt not to use a shoulder rest/pad. Hope this helps!

Ah. I play mine without a chin rest.

I have to, it flew off when I whacked it with a tambourine.

I usually play play it from the hip though.

I wouldn't get used to it. Although you do have a mic on tour. It's on the diagram and everything!

oh yeah, i accept the fleeting nature of 'being heard'... and it's fine, when you're all plugged in i can mess about more!
