Tacx i-Magic Virtual Reality Trainer
I bought myself an i-Magic Virtual Reality Turbo-trainer for Christmas. I had a few hours to kill in Cheltenham just before Christmas and I found a bike shop where the manager was willing to take me through the options on turbo-trainers ( Leisure Lakes). 2009 Lon Las campaign
The Bobath ride isn't in the Justgiving calendar yet so I can't set up a fund-raising page but I need to consider what I do to my Facebook profile and other pages to raise my visibility. Will email Jess on Friday to let her know I'm doing it.

Lon Las 2009
OK, I've decided-I'm going to do the Lon Las for Bobath again in 2009. There are two differences this year: it will be in late May not mid-April so hopefully the weather will be better and we'll be starting in Cardiff so the first day will involve descending to the Talybont reservoir. Some thoughts on diagnosis
I have come to the conclusion that I owe my early diagnosis of cancer to the effects of rooibos tea! I realised a short while ago that if I drink a cup of rooibos then I'm guaranteed two nights of having to go to the loo every 60-90 minutes throughout the night! Adventures with my bike
Last Friday I took delivery of an Adventure Cargo Trailer - CT2 from Chain Reaction Cycles. The idea is that I will use instead of the car for trips to the supermarket and the allotment. A trip to America
I'm typing this in my hotel room outside Raleigh North Carolina. I've got an hour before I need to checkout and go to RDU airport to fly to New York and then Heathrow and I'd like to record some of my observations about life over here.

Change of Photo
The default photo I've been using is way out of date so I've posted a new one, taken on holiday. It's a bit dark, I'll try to get a better one soon. There's a problem with the data model in Livejournal, If I were to make this the default picture then all the pictures associated with the previous posts would change as they are set to the default. Latest PSA Levels
My PSA level last Thursday was 0.1 nanogrammes/millilitre, which is just the same as last time and which is well below the 4 ng/ml which is considered the upper limit of normal. I've never given a link to any description of the PSA test I realise, here's one from a leading US authority.

Chrome Update
Google have issued an update to fix various security and usability problems. The download file incorporates this and if you are using Chrome it ill update itself within a few hours.
It fixes the Facebook issues that I mentioned in my last post.
