So I'm working at a porn shop these days. Selling dildos, butt plugs, nipple clamps, you name it. There's an internet connection here that I'm not supposed to use, but I'm getting paid $8 an hour to sell dildos, butt plugs and nipple clamps. So here we are

Surprsingly few funny stories at the porn shop, which is probably a good thing. I work at the least successfull location of a big 3-province-wide chain. It's actually moderately upstairs, catering more to couples, so between that, the low traffic and the fact that the BC film board doesn't let anything truly degrading into the province, things are pretty serene. Much more so than at the coffee shop I worked at, ironically. We had to call the cops on people there all the time

Anyways, it's great to see your semi-annual presence on LJ.

Guess what? An amateur commedian started her own journal about working in a porn shop called "True Porn Clerk Stories." I kid you not. It was a fantastic read and got over a million hits. You'll have to check it out and let us know if it's the same kind of stuff you've had to deal with.
