I haven't posted in ages because, well, life has kinda sucked around here. Last week when I came to work on Monday (after having been out at the elementary school and therefore losing money on Friday), I opened my paycheck to see it was cut in half. i'm broke, too. instead of buying those pretty flower cupcakes for consumption with Mitch (which is blessedly free, on the internet!), let's make some of our own instead! that way we have fun AND a delicious dessert, for a fraction of the cost (i've got most ingredients here already)! we'll just have to figure out what to do with the rest of the cupcakes, because i'm pretty sure we'd OD on them pretty quickly... :)

anyway, enough levity (although i was serious about the baking-cupcakes idea!) : i DO hope things look up soon, and that you don't have to work 24/7 for the rest of the year! i hate to think of you having to do that just for stupid taxes, UGH.

i'm cutting back on Christmas presents this year, too, unfortunately. it's tough, but i think the people who love you will understand, really. :)
